Kanoonify — Legal Case Management & Lawyer Collaboration App

Kanoonify ("we", "our", "the app") connects advocates and clients in India for legal case management, hearing tracking, lawyer discovery and consultation. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.

Data is stored on MongoDB Atlas (database), Cloudinary (photos) and Cloudflare R2 (documents). All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Access is protected by email-and-password sign-in (a one-time code sent to your email address may be used instead of your password) and by role-based access control — clients can only view cases assigned to them; case data can only be edited by the advocate who created it.
Your data is visible only to the people the product requires: your advocate/client sees the cases you share; advocate profiles (name, city, practice areas, experience) are visible in lawyer search; enquiries you send are shared with the advocate you contact. We do not share data with any other third party except the infrastructure providers named above.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app, or by following the steps at this page. Deletion removes your profile, login identity, notifications, enquiries and device tokens. Cases created by an advocate are removed from the platform. Chat messages already delivered to other users may remain visible to those recipients, as with standard messaging apps.
Notifications are automatically deleted after 90 days. Other data is retained while your account is active and removed on account deletion as described above.
Kanoonify is not directed at children under 18. Legal services in India are intended for adults.
